PPCC PRESIDENT RECHRISTENS AAP AS “FOKKI MASHURIYAN WALI SARKAR”
INSTEAD OF CONCENTRATING ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE CM IS BUSY SHIELDING THE CORRUPT: RAJA WARRING
CONGRESS WILL START ‘POL KHOL’ CAMPAIGN IN PUNJAB TO EXPOSE THE CONDITION OF HEALTHCARE UNDER AAP’S MISRULE: PPCC CHIEF
Chandigarh, July 3, 2023:- Punjab Pradesh Congress President S. Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Monday, while addressing a press conference along with former Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, rechristened AAP as the ‘Fokki Mahshooriyan Wali Sarkar’ and dared CM Bhagwant Mann to prove his allegations levelled against the latter.
Alleging the Aam Aadmi Party of distracting the residents of Punjab, the PPCC chief said that instead of concentrating on the development and progress of the state and prosperity and well-being of its people, Bhagwant Mann and the AAP leadership is busy shielding the corrupt and squandering the state exchequer for self promotion. In the last more than 15 months of its ‘misrule’ the visionless AAP leadership has only burdened the state and wasted Rs 900 Crore of tax payer’s money to spread fake lies and validate its false claims.
Lambasting the AAP leadership, the state chief said that the CM and his leaders are trying all means to shield their corrupt ministers including Fauja Singh Sarari, Amit Rattan Kotfatta, Vijay Singla and others. Instead of ordering probe against the tainted leaders AAP is diverting attention by levelling false allegations against Congress party leaders to hide its own failures. Bhagwant Mann made tall claims of corruption against former CM Charanjit Singh Channi but failed to prove any and now he is using the same tactics against Randhawa Sahab, and he will fail again, he added.
Bhagwant Mann is using dictatorial means to stifle the voice of the opposition, said Warring, adding that the AAP govt is using govt machinery and force to suppress and intimidate anyone who questions the leadership or raises voice against the anti-people decision and policies of the government in Punjab. In the name of ‘Badlaav’ the Aam Aadmi Party cancelled lakhs of Ration cards, increased Vat on petrol and diesel, increased Power tariff, levied Rs 200 Development Tax on the pensioners, but remained silent on Lawrence Bishnoi’s interview from jail, flourishing drug menace in Punjab, deteriorated law & order in the state, broad daylight murder of Sandeep Nangal Ambiyan, singer Sidhu Moosewala, and all other burning issues of the state. Warring also stated that number of Farmera’ suicide due to debt increased in Punjab, AAP mislead the farmers by announcing MSP on Moong Dal but let them down by not fulfilling its promise forcing them to go for distress sale. Instead of giving any relief, AAP has only added to the woes of the beleaguered farming community, said Warring.
Warring said Bhagwant Mann-led government believes in building castles in the air to hoodwink the voters. Mann wastes crores of rupees on self-promotion and other PR activities to make announcements but fails to fulfil the promises. He staged drama of being a teacher’s son and claimed that he understands their pain, but in reality, teachers, including women, were brutally lathicharged by the police outside his house recently. Is this ‘AAM People’s Party’ where legitimate demands of the employees are deliberately being ignored by the AAP government and force is being used to silence them, rued Warring.
Health infrastructure in Punjab has deteriorated since the Aam Aadmi Party came to power. Warring said that once Punjab had the most robust medical infrastructure in the country and several hospitals were even awarded by the central government for their outstanding services. It is ironical to see that today the Govt claims to have overhauled the entire system, but in reality, people are being deprived of basic healthcare services in the dispensaries and hospitals where medicines are not available and there is acute shortage of staff including doctors.
Punjab Congress will kick start ‘Pol Khol’ campaign in Punjab to expose the reality of Aam Aadmi Clinics and how the ruling government is playing with the lives of the people and wasting tax payers’ money in the name ‘Fake Development’, announced Warring. Aam Aadmi Clinics is nothing but a scam to deceive the voters.
Calling the allegations, levelled by Bhagwant Mann against Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa baseless, the State chief said Mann just makes false allegations to distract the voters. Rs 50 lakh is wasted every time AAP leaders use helicopter for their fairy rides, AAP wasted more than Rs 900 crore on advertisement, and it is putting false allegation of Rs 55 lakh on the former deputy CM because AAP is only attempting to hide its own failures, said PPC chief adding the party will expose all the blatant lies of Bhagwant Mann and he will have to face the consequences.
